Stud - The Right Click EP [am014]
- Publication date
- 0000-00-00 00:00:00
Stud stands up with this calm revolt against our electronic fate. He attacks the misery of the self purpose of digital living with his deep and shiny beats, though he knows we are all playing in the game.

. . . but i would not recomend this as an introduction to his music. there isn't anything here that blew me away, though it is all very nice. slow hip-hop kicks with slow harmonic pads and a bunch of skittery percussion. idm-fanfare.
the vocal samples in "a popup will popup aren't that interesting, but i like the more cut-up sound of the vocals in "food story" ... as well as the hella repeate/retriggery glass synth that fades in and out, yum!
"same shite worldwide" is my favorite ... not only for the title either! it's a slow and gloomy groover, with some liquid sounding synthwork that simply sounds alive, little water friends calling to each other.
my only complaint is that the mastering is VERY loud, i think stud's sound can use some headroom to let all the little sounds play around in.
