a dawn chorus to send the headphones to sleep
written under the flight path of london heathrow airport and with a railway line within a hundred metres, the sessions were constantly interrupted by noise but between the elongated rhythm of planes and trains, the most delicate of british birdsong could be heard. this juxtaposition along with a very solitary and introspective time inspired this new album from megaheadphoneboy.
edited down from around 30 tracks and taking nearly a year to finish, the material was rejected and forgotten for months until the offer of two weeks in the netherlands and a new laptop provided the perfect opportunity to complete 'a plane flew overhead, drowning out the birdsong'.

This is a GREAT album, which is BIG-BIG on atmos. It is very detailed. It's the kinda music that just takes you away to some place else ... far from the grime of the city. I particularly dig the bassy groove of 'call'. Groovy stuff from a v v groovy artist.
