Subject: Are they legendary yet?

How many strange and beautiful noises can a band fit into one album? Some highlights:
The arpeggiated riff in ‘Cornerstone Plant’ that sounds like it’s melting as it’s being played.
The wonderful passage in ‘The Lunatic’ with the clanking percussion and Sonic Youth-esque guitar noise (although, for the record, Halaka are better than Sonic Youth) and mile deep…uh…feedback? And is that the theme from ‘Halloween’ at the end??
The groovy rawk cruelly riff kicked around ‘A Crooked Sparrow’
Every demented second of ‘Homosexual Chocolate Door’
Just when things threaten to get too abstract there’s always a beautiful melody or riff to pull things back, and in the few moments where things start to sound a little too similar to normal there’s always some wonderful and bizarre noise to twist everything up again. Some songs work better than others, and there are a few parts I can't really get into, but when it's good…oh man, I love this band.
