Subject: It is weird
It is weird. The trailer narrates the storyline and highlights the technical features of the film. Pretty basic stuff.

Subject: Crap
Crap trailer for a crap film. No wonder this crap bombed. This is the crappiest trailer I've ever seen from the 50's. It's Boring!
CRAP

Subject: Fun trailer
I must say I disagree with the previous reviewer, as this trailer is EXACTLY the same as the dozens other tailers I've scene from the 40's/50's. Same editing style, Same writing style, Same everything. If anything, It's SLOWER than the other tailers I've seen from the 40's/50's (See the late-40's Re-Issue trailer for "The Wizard Of Oz" to see what I mean).

Subject: Better Than Many
This is an excellent trailer for the era. It's snappy, to the point, fast, gets the basic story across, uses some great imagery, and doesn't include really any waste. Often, trailers from this era and before - even for many more years after this one - were overlong, drawn out, aimless, and had many other flaws that this one seems to either lack or keep down to a minimum.

Subject: I love this trailer!!!
Brilliant trailer!!! It was FUN! This film looks like a classic, and since i am a big fan of classic films, i might rent this at the local blockbuster! The whamy duel clip looks HILARIOUS!!!!! I cant wait to rent this film!.................................................Anyway, i enjoyed this trailer alot. if you are interested in Dr Suess, you should look at this trailer. Also, if you are a fan of old trailers, you will enjoy it as well.

Subject: I pity the fool who doesn't see this movie!
Now known mostly as a cult novelty item than it should be, the 5000 fingers of Dr. T. is simply one of the most stunningly beautiful kidâÃÂÃÂs movies ever made, and this trailer certainly proves it. The plot isnâÃÂÃÂt really explained here, (and by golly, I canâÃÂÃÂt really remember the whole plot now) but oh, look at the colors in the trailer! Why WOULDNâÃÂÃÂT you go see this? Bah, kids.

Subject: Good, not great
Fans of Dr. Seuss will be interested since this is the first of his production credits. The trailer gives one a good idea of what the film is about, but the film itself suffers from a few faults, namely the boring and sometimes irritating songs (with the exception of a cute dressing song by Hans Conreid.) Tommy Rettig plays the boy; he later starred in the first 'Lassie' TV series.
