Just like the title would lead you to believe, this is ambient drones for one guitar. It's divided into two discs, one of long drones & one of shorter drones. The guitar has tons of reverb & other effects as well as loops going on from the era when 2 seconds was still a long loop...

Subject: distinctive drone music
Subject: distinctive drone music
This is distinctive drone music. First off, it is medium to high
pitched instead of low-pitched. Second off, it has some nice
underlying rhythm as well as some note progressions.
What we have here is something one step more "musical" than television
static. Slightly more rhythmic definition. A little more melody. But
certainly floating near the television static realm and crossing over
occasionally.
I dont know why a search for "ambient" turned this up. Marilyn Manson
might consider this ambient. Chucky might consider this
ambient. Jeffrey Dahmer might consider this ambient. But to me this is
pushing into industrial/noise/experimental quite easily. It is far too
in-your-face to be considered ambient.
Nonetheless, I'm glad it got classed that way or I would not have
found it.
