12rec.netV.A. - So Much Achieved. So Much Left To Do. (July 24, 2008)

Welcome to 12rec.050!
For our 50th release, we decided to go for a compilation.
All exclusive. All free. All for you.

We drummed up the whole bunch and asked them to deliver the best they have.
They did. Seventeen chosen songs from recent and future 12rec. artists.

You can download the compilation for free. You should do so!

But if you really really want to support 12rec. and our artists,
make sure to take a look at the fine digipak CD we got done.

This audio is part of the collection: 12rec.

hey guys, thanks for your comments! one thing we often found when asking people about our compilation is that one half loves exactly these songs, the other half explicitly dislikes. this, in a way, gives me the impression that the compilation is just right... five stars :)

ridiculous - to say daniel maze is head and shoulders above the other artists is insane - are you a friend? the album is very good - and showcases how broad 12rec is. the konntinent into ian hawgood merge of tracks is quite something - both artists doing something quite different from their usual works. adcBicycle too, Crepsulum - I mean, to say Daniel Maze is the only artist of note is just fucking stupid. A very good release (and the maze track is actually one of the poorest)

Subject: good compilation but...
“Herons Are Mellow” by Daniel Maze is a fantasticly cinematic downtempo track, which I believe has little company in the rest of his work.
