Subject: I just find the name funny
Imagine how many stupid people would misread the title. "Big convoy to Russia Beats Off Nazis". That sounds like a Kevin Smith movie!

Anyway, informative (but as with everything, biased) information about World War 2. Great upload.

Subject: Tailgunners! Taxes! Torment! Tanks!
WWII newsreel reporting a convoy of ships fighting off German attacks. This features fairly exciting combat footage. This is followed by a story about a huge tax increase, which Iâm sure was welcome news to all. This features a guy who blinks too much. Then comes a story about an Australian dog who was adopted by a GI unit. This features an upsetting scene of the dog tormenting a tied-up cat. Then thereâs a lively story about tank inspection. This features a guy scrawling âOKâ on approved tanks. Thereâs something about this newsreels that really gives you a feel for the war years, both the good and the bad times.
