Subject: Great shots of the house and plane
Although not nearly long enough (it is just a Universal news reel, after all) we can clearly see the damage to the houses as well as the plane. The depictions in "The Aviator" were no exaggeration; Hughes' plane really tore the rooftops off the houses! The fact that he survived this crash is yet another testament to Mr. Hughes tenacity and will to live life no matter what the cost.
