The Ballerina
Ozzie and Harriet was produced by Stage Five Productions, ABC Productions, and Volcano Productions. It aired on ABC from 1952-1966. This episode in particular, The Ballerina, aired on Wednesday November 4th, 1964 at 8pm EST. It is an American family sitcom.
In this episode of Ozzie and Harriet, everyone prepares for an upcoming fundraiser for the Woman's Club. The idea of a ballet to perform for the kids is introduced and everyone (including the males) must learn this "simple" ballet routine. There is an entire montage where Chris teaches the guys her ballet routine and they fail at it, until the dress rehearsal where they somehow manage to do a fairly decent routine. However, a couple kids oversee and comment on how funny it is, making the routine a comedy and purposefully bad to create laughs. Chris, an actual ballet dancer, is offended and complains that this might be the first exposure most kids have with ballet and they're being instructed to throw food at it and have it mocked. Rick, her husband, suggests that she just do the routine the real way and he and guys won't participate. The guys are fine with this idea, but no one thinks to tell the kids until everyone shows up. Ozzie comes up with a plan, however, to perform after Chris' ballet and have the kids throw things at him instead because it is improper to throw tomatoes at a lady.

I Uploaded This
This still needs moving weeka after it was uploaded, it should be in the Classic TV section.
This episode is from late in the series run and as such shows typical TV signs of a show running out of steam.
Nevertheless, the storyline and ending is amusing, to say the least.
Side-Note: "Lost in Space" castmember Billy Mumy make a very brief appearance.
Too bad it doesn't feature anybody saving the world from evil, but I guess you can't have everything...
