Subject: Here's some irony for you

In hindsight we now know that, in fact, the invasion was sponsored at a slight remove by the United states.
Here we have a newsreel making the American case that Stevenson put to the U.N.
The other interesting irony or pair of ironies - the 300,000 man militia Castro claims to have mobilized is roughly the same size as America's global mobilization at this time. (Feb 2006) and oh yes Castro is still in power. Guess the rebels were not as successful as the newsreel claimed. The operation was a success, the patient now lives in Florida and his daughter sings in a salsa band.
