Subject: once in a lifetime
you may all know that us fellows always make it big, no comparaison possible....but this exposition was a pure delightfull one. Montreal is a nice place to live and see..ask people from showbiz or grandprix....Expo 67 was meaningfull exposition because of is title: MEN AND HIS WORLD. wich mean also peace for everyone here in Montreal and for this it was a real success.

Subject: Newsreel About a World's Fair When Both Newsreels and World's Fairs Were on the Wane
Newsreel story about Expo Â67, a huge worldÂs fair that unfortunately opened during the days when worldÂs fairs were waning, so you donÂt hear much about it today. The typical scenes of modern architecture, opening ceremonies, and carnival rides are shown. By 1967, newsreels were almost dead, giving this a double swan-song quality.
Ratings: Camp/Humor Value: **. Weirdness: **. Historical Interest: ****. Overall Rating: ***.

Subject: I shouted out "Free Expo 67!"
Opening ceremonies of Expo 67, near Montreal in the St. Lawrence River. This by now largely forgotten world expo appears from the opening ceremonies a pale echo of the New York World's Fair. This newsreel, which the narration at the end gets cut off, is mainly of interest for seeing some 1960s modernist architecture.
