Donald Rumsfeld, on behalf of the United States government, visits with Saddam Hussein on December 20, 1983.

ÂIn his 90-minute meeting with Rumsfeld, Saddam Hussein showed obvious pleasure with President [ReaganÂs] letter and RumsfeldÂs visit and in his remarks removed whatever obstacles remained in the way of resuming diplomatic relations, but did not take the decision to do so.

The bigger threat was Iran, you may remember the hostages in 1979. You know, the ones that were set free as Carter was walking out the front door of the whitehouse and the Iyatolla knew Ronny Raygun was gunning for iranian ass.

Now you might really believe in all the ridicules exaggerated soundbytes and cliche comments floating around but if there were any real evidence for any war crimes someone would have already started impeachment process.

Since it happened to clinton, do it to bush right?

Subject: out of context?
OK, this is mildly interesting, but most of us know this went on. Low quality video with no concept what the point of the clip is makes it hard to describe. I guess if you didn't know that Rumsfield and others were Saddam backers this is a shocker. Might make good evidence in a war crimes court. Who is the mass killer? The one who pulls the trigger or the one who supplies the money and weapons. Not my place to judge. You have to decide for yourself.
