I was all but the first of this run. Just incredible, high level professional playing throughout. The Milestones for this run REALLY stands out. Just listened to the original by Miles. If this isn’t as good or better - you’re crazy. Phil Lesh on bass, incredible jazz guitarist Jimmy Herring, improvisational player FORCED to play strict jazz Warren Haynes, John Molo! And I don’t care what you say but incredible jazz playing by Rob Barraco.
The entire series of shows was just high level professional and improvisational musicianship —— AND Phil released the soundboards!
Download this. Important music. Cheers!

I've been to a lot of Dead shows and numerous Phil and Friends and JGB shows too. This show is the 4th in a run of 4 shows at the Maritime Hall. And it is one of the best shows I have ever attended. It is a prime example of Phil with the Quintet. It has a magnificent set list and great jamming. It is simply awesome. Listening to the archive copy gave me a sense of its greatness. Every synonym is Roget's Thesaurus for awesome would fit this show. Thank you Phil and the Quintet for a real fine time.

Awesome performance, awesome setlist.
I know people love Trey, Kimock, Trucks, what have you. But this P&F lineup with Warren and Jimmy on guitar and Barraco on keys has the best chemistry, most polish. (and Phil doesn't sing as much!)
Of all the P&F sbds, this is definitely among the best.

Any Show that starts off with a 25 minute Dancin in the Street is going to have the potential for a tremendous show. This is the Rosetta Stone of Phil Lesh and Friends show. The jams are phenomenal. This is one of my all-time favorite Phil Shows. The sound is pristine. Not a bad song on the whole show. The only bummer is We Bid you a Goodnight cannot fit on the 3rd Disk This show is a must have for any Phil and friends show. Great Jamming.
