blue shimmery fall - pure celebrations of sound - something that is beautiful in its aesthetics, lively in its delivery, and leaves a profound feeling of exuberance with each listener and each track are a rare find in today's music world. this intangible something was achieved with love for music. though not as illustrious or memorable as the previous album, jasper boer ascends to one of music's glorious heights with the new album "blue shimmery fall" on maetrix. the eleven tracks presented on "blue shimmery fall" are each swathed in elated soundscapes that are also grounded with a dynamic use of rhythm and percussion, as well as an ardent sense of melodic finesse. and, unlike nearly every release tagged as "electronica", jasper boer does not rely on the style's clichés, such as glitches or dsp-effects. despite each track featuring little or no vocal accompaniment, the compositions never feel underdeveloped or incomplete, as the instrumental ambience, textures, rhythmic interplay, minimal drones, and soaring melodies pack enough sound into "blue shimmery fall" that each moment is bursting with life and vivacity. enjoy listening!

Subject: top recommendation!
in writing reviews, i have given many excellent releases a 'five-star' rating but every now and then a collection comes a long that makes me wish there was an even highter rating. 'blue shimmery fall' deserves a special gold star. a masterpiece from beginning to end, it jap jap takes you on a colourful, nostalgic journey and the sound will reverberate through your head for hours after you've finished listening. it says in the info that jap jap is not satisfied with his vocals but in my opinion they are quite striking (in a good way) and are the perfect accent to the dreamy idm stylings of this beautiful album. top recommendation!!

Maetrixsolution have signed an excellent release from the non-less excellent jasper boer (author of :: shapes are EP on late 05). Part of his own story, delicate ambient atmospheres alternates with an hybrid electronica. Not so far from some works of Milieu, these :: Blue Shimmery Fall are opening a great year for this netlabel
