The eighth of twelve chapters of a DVD I produced from footage I took of a wedding in the South East of Turkey. The wedding took place in the town of Batman, where I was invited to stay with my friend's family. I'm very grateful to the Sonmezsoy family for their warm hospitality and letting me film in such intimate settings.
The final chapter of street dancing, baskets of candles are brought out and the groom is tossed into the air in celebration.
