The twelve and final chapter of a DVD I produced from footage I took of a wedding in the South East of Turkey. The wedding took place in the town of Batman, where I was invited to stay with my friend's family. I'm very grateful to the Sonmezsoy family for their warm hospitality and letting me film in such intimate settings.
A multi-level cake appears and the bride and groom cut the cake and feed each other a bite. On lookers break into dance and some of the groom's immediate family dances around the newly weds. It was a wonderful wedding and an amazing experience, being let so close to another culture.
