A new nuclear technology - discovered in 1942!
Choppy editing, but still a great video the average high school student can understand. The patent-holding inventor of LWR's advocated for the abandonment of current uranium reactors back in the 1960's and 1970's. Currently China, Germany, Canada, Norway, and India are looking at alternative reactors utilizing thorium. Good Q&A about Molten Salt Reactors.
