Sounds decent on audio but better on my videos, got four real audio songs on video at youtube.com/white311.

Subject: Down in LA
This is taken from the Down in LA bootleg CD. Definetely an audience recording, you can hear the phase shifting from the person who recorded it moving around.

If you like 311 you like having a large nut sack in your mouth.

Subject: OK: Not bad, but no great either
OK recording. Some of the songs are badly tagged. "Independence Day" is actually the "Transistor Intro" combined with "Homebrew." I don't believe 311 has actually performed "Independence Day" live , and if they have I would like to have that recording. "Independence Day" is from "Dammit!" which is a real rarity to own an original copy. "From the Earth" is actually "Hydroponic." Whoever tagged this show does not know much about 311 and this show definitely does not deserve to be the most downloaded. It's a definite necessity for anyone hardcore fan, though.

Subject: NOT A SBD
Just to clear things up, this is an audience recording. It has commonly been referred to as a SBD recording and this simply is not true. That said, I have always enjoyed this recording as it reminds me of an outdoor show during the daytime...It is true that the sound is not absolutely spectacular, but that is what makes the recording something special to me...you get to feel what the sound was like out on Hospitality Point August 13, 1996.

I listened to this show a few days back. Overall I think it is a good show. I imagine that there are better performances / recordings. I will take the previous reviewers advice and try a different show. Thanks.

Subject: most downloaded show . . .WTF?
Why is this the most downloaded show? I don't wanna say it sucks but, you all know there are better 311 shows in this archive. Everyone hypes the track "Hysteria" (probably named by a novice who didn't know the proper name) saying it's such a good version of the song, check this: you want the same song but way, way better quality? Check out May 26th, 1996 at Millenium center.

There is one 311 soundboard that has yet to be released from 1996. I do not have it, I used to (but only in CBR mp3). It's one of the best sounding shows I've ever heard. This recording is 100% audience I don't care what anyone says. The show is 311 05/26/96 - Millenium Center - Winston-Salem, NC

Subject: hey guys
From what i understand the soundboard guy
in this era of 311 was very, how do you say,
sucky. all recordings SBD or AUD
of pre-'99 311 will have something wrong with
it. its a lot like old grateful dead, valuable
but not consistant quality. so remember:
Downloader Beware......

Subject: NOT DSBD SOURCE, WASTE OF TIME
THIS SOUNDS MORE LIKE A 2ND GEN TAPE OF AN AUD RECORDING. MOST DEFINTELY IS NOT A DSBD, IF IT WAS, IT WOULDNT SOUND LIKE TOTAL SHIT, THANKS FOR WASTING EVERYONES TIME

Subject: This Absolutely Rocks!!
Check out the fighter jet getting into the mix a minute into track 10. It's San DIego alright! Sound quality? The start of track 4 sounds like it was ripped from a CD until the sound opens up.
Free fun for all!! Grab this concert!

Subject: DSBD...I think not
If this is a DSBD show it is by far the worst one i have ever heard. Nothing wrong with the sound but it really does not sound like a SBD show. Clear? Yes. Very treble saturated.
