Subject: great recording sound, except Nick's voice
The recording quality was great, but I think there was an issue with Nick's vocal mic. The taper says the issue starts with Applied Science, but I heard it from the beginning.

Attempting to record 311 is a nasty chore usually. Lots of P-nut's bass mixed with a crappy venue drowns out the balance. But this taper's mics cut through and picked up a lot of crisp guitar, which is rare for a house recording. Good choice of gear makes capturing a clear recording simple... and other tapers should take note!
Nick's vocals went bad from Applied Science through the end of the show due to a technical malfunction.
