40 Years After Stonewall , is a sequel to 20 Years After Stonewall. In 1969 a police raid on the Stonewall Inn , ( a gay bar on Christopher Street ) started a three day riot. This was said to be the start of the modern lesbian, gay civil rights movement. The film is made up of excerpts of speeches, and performances from the June 2009 Bryant Park Rally, and the Fifth Avenue Parade, in New York City.
