Johnny Brenda's is a two-level club in Philadelphia. The ground level is a restaurant and bar, the second, up a narrow flight of stairs, is an intimate, homey little concert space containing a lower level with the main bar and the stage, and a mezzanine level containing a smaller bar. It was from the far left side of the mezzanine (the one farthest from the bar) in a little alcove that I made the recording that you're about to hear.
This was my first-ever Acid Mothers Temple show. I must say, this just-shy-of-two-hours performance was pretty sweet! High-volume neo-psychedelia and mellow but very tasty space of the first order, as I'm sure you'll agree.
I met another taper who made a recording of this show from another vantage point. As of this posting I have not seen his program here. Hopefully, he'll post it soon.
Unfortunately I don't know the titles of each track. If someone would please add a set list in the comment section, that would be great.
Many thanks to to the band for allowing me to record an excellent performance and post it here, the crowd who came out to support the band, Johnny Brenda's for bringing them to the City of Brotherly Love, and to a couple of very nice people who furnished me with earplugs when the ones I thought I had brought with me went missing!

Lineage: Marantz PMD-660 flash media recorder, recording in linear PCM mode (44.1 Khz, 16-bits), Sony ECM929LT stereo electret condenser microphone > Adobe Audition (tracking, panning and level adjustment) > FLAC, level 8 > You, the listener!
This program was encoded as FLAC by me. As for any files in other formats created automatically by this site's system, I cannot vouch for their quality and functionality, though I'm certain they'll sound just fine.
By the way, I am the artist formerly known as tungarbulb. I once uploaded a 2007 New Deal show from Castaways in Ithaca, NY. Having not used my username and password in a long time, and having lost both has forced me to start from scratch. I am now tungarbulb02.
Selling music from this or any other concert-downloading site is not only a violation of our trust, it's completely pointless!

Reviewer:thelegroom - - May 27, 2009 Subject: Acoustic Pink Lady! Thanx Doctor B. A fine recording, and a rather long show for these folks. I'll do my best for a setlist: Disc I Tracks 1 & 2: Are we Experimental? Track 3: Dark Stars in the Dazzling Sky (There might be more than just this song on this track)
Disc II Track 1: Pink Lady Lemonade>(I am not sure if the beginning is another song) Track 2: ???> Track 3: Pink Lady Lemonade> Track 4: Are we Experimental?>Speed Guru
I am playing Dark Stars on my radio show this week. Peace
Notes
The program fits onto two CD's and is divided into two parts to allow two complete CD's to be burned.
