On January 13, 2004, Kawabata Makoto gave permission for AMT shows to be hosted at the Archive:

msg 2110 from kawabata:
(replying to Diana's question in 2098
"If you permit noncommercial taping and trading, would you also like to permit fans to send their AMT recordings to this live music site? http://www.archive.org/audio/etree.php")
>Diana
if you want to put our track, you can.
we don't care any copyright...
(also replying to to dan's idiomatic but positive endorsement of sharing in 2099: "[an online music sharing] site has the SH*T!!... I don't see how sharing AMT gigs on the net can hurt at all...")
>dan
i can't understand Englidh so well...so i couldn't understand why you were angree so much, sorry...
but anyway our music is not only ours when we played already. anyone can own jointly our music. so AMT is People's AMT!
anyway thanks for your posting. i prefer to hear many opinions by each person.
[BTW soon afterward Kawabata-san got a translation of "the sh*t" vs just "sh*t" from a helpful fan. :) ]

"Anyone out there taping the Acid Mothers Temple collective tour shows? Any of the Kawabata Makoto related shows? ...They're taper friendly and every show is different. Just walk up to the Japanese guy with giant hair and ask permission."
