Andrew Gartonage 2 wonder at - Lost Time Accident (1998)

Generative soundscapes derived from compositions scored in 1982 by Australian composer and media artist, Andrew Garton. Andrew Garton re-worked those compositions in the mid-1990s utlising the magnificent KoanPro (generative music software).

Garton utilised techniques originally conceived by Australian composer, Sykes Rose - the relocation of randomly-articulated tonal clusters in intervallic progressions. These ideas were applied to KoanPro, which after 15 years bound to paper were finally realised.

age 2 wonder was recorded in Melbourne between 1997 and 1998 and was released under the name, Lost Time Accident, in collaboration with Simon Kaufmann. It was first released on Secession Records in 1998.
