Zero OrientationZero Orientation - Samurai [BB009] (April 30, 2004)

Samurai by Japanese noise-rockers Zero Orientation is a short EP from a band who may of gone on to become a great influential force on the future of rock music had they not disbanded under tragic and controversial circumstances.

Notes

Japanese foreign-exchange student noise-rockers Zero Orientation are able to compensate for their terrible-sounding live 4-track recording methods by creating songs that are ingeniously unique in their sound and structure. More fun than Fugazi, but less silly than The Boredoms.

Subject: like them for the mood
i cant say why i like the 'samurai' track so much. the live approach they take is fairly evident but the basement-sounding results stand out for me. it's fascinating. i can forecast their progress; they have the potentialities to produce amazing material.
