Nice. I'm old enough to be reminded of the glories of Guided by Voices and even Orange Juice by this. Five splendid stars.

It’s always a pleasure to hear indie pop done well – when everything fits so beautifully into place – and this EP is truly a pleasure indeed. Mr Wells has a lovely timbre to his voice, a little reminiscing of The Bats’ Robert Scott (I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bats were a songwriting influence here) and the lyrics are interesting and idiosyncratic through.
This EP is jammed full of ravishing melodies and lovely understated guitar hooks. Highlights for me are the gorgeous melodicism of Love Pundits Bright Future, catchier-than-SARS Sarasota Vs the Concrete Poets and the GBV-ish pop rumble Strategy of Daylight.
Looking around the internet for music and artists you’ve never heard before can be like wandering around a giant second-hand store – there’s a lot of junk, but every once in a while you strike gold. Thanks for the gold, Dean.

this EP is worth a lot more than free. "personal surfers" is my favorite, but every track here is worth screaming at the top of your lungs on a roadtrip with your best friends.
thanks dean!
