Michigan DJ legend Ben Hamper hosts this 2 hour radio show broadcast on WNMC in Traverse City, MI Ben witnessed the Michigan garage rock scene firsthand. He has included tracks from his rare and extensive collection of Michigan garage rock in his legendary radio shows Take No Prisoners (WFBE, in Flint, MI during the 1980s) and more recently, Soul Possession (WNMC, in Traverse City, MI). His Smell The Mitten series, which is occasionally broadcast during his normal Soul Possession time slot, is a focused, 2 hour celebration of the rich and vibrant history of the Michigan garage rock scene of the 1960s and early 1970s.
