Rights
On May 9, 2003, Billy Bragg's Management gave permission to Aaron Parker for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
Dear Aaron
Billy does not object to the exchanging of amateur audio recordings, or
unofficial bootlegs, of his live shows among enthusiasts. The main condition is
that there should be no financial transaction involved. Recording directly from
the sound desk is not permitted. Trading commercial releases, such as studio
recordings and official Billy Bragg bootlegs, is not permitted.
We have no objection to http://www.archive.org hosting these amateur live
bootlegs, as long as the site itself remains strictly non-commercial.
We reserve the right to revise this policy.
There is a Billy Bragg bootleg exchange forum at
http://www.billybragg.co.uk/forums. The forums can be viewed by guests, but you
need to register to post messages or use other features of the board.
Yours sincerely
Toby Cummings
