Subject: Origins Of this Film...
This is really lovely, and, as earlier post-ers have noted, the total naturalness of it all is very winning. Today, R-rated movies show more than this.

I have a strong hunch this film is European, specifically German. I place the year at about...1961. I'm quite sure that girl is not American.

I suppose this was the type of film showed at Burlesk houses in between the live dancers, and the type of film one could order on Super8 from the back of various men's mags like SWANK, TITTER, ESQUIRE, etc. When did they usher in those "peep shows" where you could view contents of a "loop" for 25cents?

My guess is that this same "film director" probably also could be touched for a more XXX version of this particular model, if the customer demanded it.

Subject: Certainly Not Porn
I wouldn't class this film as porn considering the fact that there was no more nudity than is common place on most public European beaches that I have visited, and much less than than seen on some. This is an absolutely beautiful glimpse into another era of erotic art films. A time when magazine stands were not filled with dozens of porno. Prehaps the magazine vendor might have a nudist magazine for sale that remained under the counter until requested in a very discrete manner. You might even call it a time of innocence. It reminded of when I was seven and my best buddy and I peaked under the tent of the hootchi kootchi show at the county fair. I enjoyed it very much.
