Recorded on May 14, 1929 in New York City. This tune was recorded for the 1929 film "On With The Show," which featured Miss Waters. The accompaniment on this tune features Tommy Dorsey on trombone and Manny Klein on trumpet. Ethel Waters may have been the most popular African-American performer of the twenties and her career spanned well into the fifties, including an Academy Award nomination and a New York Drama Critics Award.
