The music heard here is the Bill Of Rights set to music- The first 10 amendments to the US Constitution as performed by The Bill Of Rights Band.
The BORB's mission is to make this critical document available to The People, word for blessed word. Since lyrics to a tune are easier to commit to memory than raw prose, this is designed to aid those who wish to memorize the Bill of Rights. The arrangements of these 10 songs are somewhat rough- a pianist/vocalist and a Tibetan Bowl Orator can only go so far. But it's a start. Consider going directly to the 4th Amendment. The Patriot Act leaves all of us vulnerable.

Subject: Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
A friend suggested I come here for some comic relief...I got a laugh alright...that singing nasal voice and the guy who comes across as the Humpback of Liberty Bell is too much
If its on MTV Beavis would say to Butthead "Ahhhh!!!! I can't take it Butthead. Ahhhh!!!! Turn it. Turn it." And Butthead would respond, "Settle down, Beavis."

Subject: brings it alive
Having listened to this effort a few times,it struck me how the text comes alive when sung. That truism of the Bill of Rights being called alive really has effect here.I actually get choked up and angry when I hear it,wanting to protect our rights more than ever.Plus it makes it easy to memorise the words.Seems to me,a larger arrangement would fill in some of the open spaces, perhaps an orchestra? And what's that sound?

Subject: Essential material!
Subject: Essential material!
Critically important subject matter and the music is surprisingly pleasant, especially considering that the words were NOT written to SOUND good, but chosen for their meaning. Five stars for the content, I can take or leave the arrangements, so that comes out to 4 stars. ****
