Strange Frequencies Radio #001 Topics: Twilight, Paranormal Research and Investigation, and Is TAPS Faking Evidence? Guest(s): Robyn McKinney, creator and webmaster of www.MyGhostNetwork.com
For our first episode, show hosts Bobby Nelson and Jason Korbus, along with announcer Matthew McGuire talked about their paranormal investigation team, Phase 3 Paranormal, as well as the basis for the show.
In our first segment, Matt talked a bit about seeing the movie Twilight over the weekend, and the vampire craze it has spawned among teenage girls. Bobby, the self-proclaimed real man of the show, took him to task a bit for going to see it at all. At this point, Jason made a confession: not only has he read the books, he has been read to from the books. And he's planning on seeing the movie very soon!
From here, the crew moved into talking about one of the biggest topics in the paranormal community at the moment. Is TAPS, the investigative team behind the Sci-Fi hit series "Ghost Hunters," faking their evidence? In the wake of their most recent live investigation, literally thousands of fans were outraged by what they've seen and have been questioning TAPS hard. Strange Frequencies gave their opinion on the controversy and talked about why it is important to question everything in the field of paranormal research and investigation.
After talking about a former case the team worked on together, they welcomed in their first guest, Robin McKinney, the creator and webmaster of My Ghost Network, a social networking website that caters to those interested in the the paranormal field.
To close the show, Bobby Nelson launched the first segment of "Pissed Off at the Paranormal," and for about 15 minutes the group talked about the subject of Demonology. In particular, the guys wondered aloud why so many teams have members who claim to be demonologists, yet so few have actually been ordained and studied it through the Catholic church?
Hoping to find out the answers to those questions, and many more, Strange Frequencies Radio signed off by asking their listeners to tune in next week to hear Archbishop James Long.
