This is one lousy western with a worn out plot, a non-existent script, no production values, missing in action direction and terrible acting, if you can call it acting. Tom Tyler plays a trouble-maker of the loud, obnoxious, petty sort - scaring horses, shooting off his guns as he enters town, scaring everyone - but "doing no harm." No wonder he's known as Cyclone Tom Saunders. His tough guy act gets him a job getting rid of nesters - settlers to us - who are all hated by cattlemen, for their propensity to fence off the open range. Here the nesters turn out th be Old Earl Dwire (George Powell) and his beautiful blonde daughter Jean Carmen (Betty) - why an old man and his daughter, both penniless and defenseless, would settle in the middle of nowhere out west, is not a question worth asking - its in this low grade script and that's that. Well, Tyler suddenly becomes a righteous, law-abiding cowboy after one look at Betty - and although hired by their "enemy" Charles King (Larmer), winds up defending old Earl and Jean. Along the way he acquires two sidekicks - a beanpole and a Mexican, who wind up working for Dwire and Jean. Perennial bad guy Richard Alexander (Nate) does his best to enliven the show - fighting and knocking out Tyler two out of three times and shooting defenseless people - he couldn't carry the movie on his own. IMDb pegs this as a 63 minute movie, but we only get
55:06 here. For completest Tom Tyler fans and those who have absolutely nothing else to watch. Oh, and the sound is out of sync by about 5 seconds - making it a little hard to follow.
