Subject: Really?
I like the idea, but the video itself is the cheesiest thing I've seen in a long time. It reminds me of a cheesy 80's music video. It really detracted from the pretty song.

Subject: Bravo.
This film proves that anyone can make a great film - it doesn't take a great budget, it takes a great idea.

The idea behind this film is very simple - a man with a guitar sings a good song in a park while people gather and disperse around him. The shots, each in a .67:1 aspect ratio, so that two take up the whole screen, scroll by and are refreshed by frequent wipes that change the characters but keep the singer in the same place. This goes on for the whole video, but somehow never gets boring. Its slowness and constance has an entrancing effect.

I can honestly say that I prefer everything about this video to nearly all of the big-budget videos on MTV. If this were given a chance in a place like MTV, the viewers may balk at first, but I think they would end up liking it.

I encourage everyone reading this review to give the film a chance, because it is excellent by any standards. Bravo.
