This video promotes the Broadcast Television Engineering Technology program at Napa Valley College, a California Community College. This two-year program trains aspiring broadcast/media engineers. The program is certified by the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
This video presents information on the program in the context of a fictional drama. About 25 students participated in the making of this video and its all-English version, including students from a film/TV acting class on campus.
All dialog between the two main characters is in Spanish; all other dialog is in English.
IMPORTANT: Those wanting to view this video on a computer running Microsoft Windows should use the VLC media player.

Unfortunately, Napa Valley College canceled the program at the end of spring semester, 2011. You may still wish to view the video if you want to get an idea of what studying broadcast engineering would be like.
