Subject: Business software-o-rama
This episode scans through a lot of business software from old school mac companies like Cricket, Silicon Beach Software and Macromedia.
The then-new desktop publishing sector gets the most attention, and it's interesting to see how much variety there was in paint- and layout software at the time. Most demoed professional apps are strikingly slow though.
Oh, and there's some hilarious late-80s fashion in there. Random access also features a piece on the upcoming NeXT computer.
