Subject: Excellent SBD + Performance
CCD are a trio of incredibly talented musicians who transcend historical, ethnic and musical history. They play string band music steeped in the Piedmont tradition from a distinguished African-American perspective. And they can P-L-A-Y !!! Please support Carolina Chocolate Drops by purchasing their CD or downloading their tracks on eMusic, iTunes or Amazon. Meanwhile, this show sounds like an "official" release in both clarity and performance. Kudos to the person behind the knobs.
