Subject: What a great, high energy show from the young Junkies
They can still put on a barn-burner of a show 20 years on from this here evening, but this was a particularly good example of their early days, recorded between Trinity Session and Caution Horses. Extra musicians can sometimes be a burden, but the Junkies have always employed them well and made sure they didn't turn it into a mess. The mandolin, accordion and pedal steel all come together to surround the band, which lays down the groove that's most important to each song. Even back then,
