the gardens of Sherwood House (Vaughan's the gardener) All our tracks get uploaded with the default title "untitled" since, as a collective, we have no straightforward way of deciding on anything! We are inviting listeners to suggest more interesting titles for our pieces. If any occur to you, please leave a little review (it's easy - see the link below) in which you suggest them. You can tell us what you think of our music at the same time. Any suggested titles we like may end up getting adopted. File names encode recording information, as follows: "010605-d2t1x2-2130to2412.mp3" would be excerpt 2 from track 1 of minidisc 2 (running from 21:30 to 24:12 of that track) recorded during the session on 1st June 2005. Sessions are usually in two parts - we fill one disc, stop for tea, and then fill another disc. ![]() |

Subject: half-asleep?
Most of this sounds like the Droners were half-asleep, and/or only half-listening to each other. I'd give it two stars, although there's a fascinating chunk in the middle of the long third piece (from about 14m) which just about redeems it. The first piece is interstingly atypical - more disjointed, almost aggressive, than usual. Second piece is hardly worth bothering with. Fourth is very wonky, but manages to hold some interest for a few minutes (from about 3:20).
