All entirely improvised and recorded on MiniDisc between 10/02 and 09/03 at Oblique House and the Phoenix Arts Centre, Exeter. Droning on this compilation: Simon, Keith, Henry, Matthew W, Matthew S, Philip, Mark, Vaughan, John, Clare, James T and Melski. "Nibbled by Bunnies" involves Melski reading from a book of flower fairy poems. "I Am Not a Refugee" is based around a poem of that title recited by James T, who wrote it. The collection ends with Matthew S spontaneously singing a random excerpt from a French novel (title unknown) pulled from a nearby bookshelf in Henry's front room. Our tracks generally get uploaded here without proper titles since, as a collective, we have no straightforward way of deciding on anything! We are inviting listeners to suggest more interesting titles for our pieces. If any occur to you, please leave a little review (it's easy - see the link below) in which you suggest them. You can tell us what you think of our music at the same time. Any suggested titles we like may end up getting adopted. Similarly, if anyone feels like contributing any appropriate artwork, or anything else, we'd be very happy to hear from you.  |
