Subject: Badly Speeded Up, Obviously

Just seeing the setlist is worth it, though.
I've often felt that, even for a band with a history of choice covers under their belt, that Photograph has always been one of the choicest. To the extent that I've often been tempted to yell out for it at one of the several reunion shows I've seen over the past eleven years (is it still a reunion after eleven years?)
I don't know if they ever played it again, but it was a revelation at that moment in time. This was a homecoming gig of sorts, as I remember (don't take my word for it, my sense of time was hazy even then), at the College V hippie/feminist collective pizza place cafe. Word was that Camper was more "rockin'", now that they had come off tour with "REM Speedwagon", etc. Returning victorious, that kind of thing. (Remarkable lot of good music played in this little spot back in those days.) This and the show at Kresge Day where they came out onstage with about 20 people are my most memorable (of many) camper-in-sc memories. OK, reminisce over...somebody speed-correct this thingy, eh?
Thanks Camper! signed, The Beetle Leg
