Subject: This has to be one of the best.
The tape flip occurs exactly in the wrong place, but the band sounds like they're having a real good time (having survived the REM tour), & the performance is excellent. Some outstandingly hilarious comments, & musical nods to Neil Young, Black Sabbath, & even Lynyrd Skynyrd make up for the few missing seconds of the 'jam' into "Processional"... Last night, with a couple beers in my belly, I decided that this is perhaps the best all-around CVB performance/recording I've yet heard. Everything great about CVB is vividly displayed here.
