Noctuidae Fauna of the Caucasus Region (Lepidoptera). Cent. ent. Stud., Priamus Suppl. 11: 1-128, 7 Tables, 10 Maps, 11 figs. This faunal study contents partial results of the Cesa Projects, Lepidoptera of Asia (LAS). Totally 1299 species group taxa (943 species) of the family Noctuidae of the Caucasus Region (including Southern Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaidjan and Turkey (in part) are listed and evaluated faunistically for the first time. List of the Caucasian species occur also in various Zoogeographical Realms and Regions are presented. Zoogeographically, the Caucasian Noctuidae species are also evaluated. Caucasian species occuring in various zoogeographical realms and regions are given as lists. They are also evaluated with their representing rates. Endemism of the 175 Noctuidae species in Caucasus District and in adjacent territories are evaluated. For this purpose some maps are prepared. Local faunal lists of the Russian Republics in northern Caucasus (Rostov, Stavropol, Krasnodar, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia, Ichkeria, Ingushetia, Kalmykia and Daghestan) are given. Faunal lists on the Noctuidae of the states of the Transcaucasus, i.e., Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaidjan are rather incomplete, therefore they are evaluated in the general list of the Caucasian Noctuidae. Species lists of the Noctuidae of four provinces of Turkey in Caucasus are listed.
Finally, Taxonomical Evaluation of the Taxonomists described Noctuidae species and subspecies represented currently in the Caucasian Fauna are presented for the first time.
