One thing that tickles me about this song is the melody closely follows "Little Brown Jug" to go with the general moonshining theme.

Subject: good stuff Mr Hutchison
Good stuff, as always from Hutchison. I don't remember anyone else using that odd halting rhythm; it makes the song a bit special.

Subject: Old time country music
Nice old time country tune. Good quality recording for the time. Reminiscent Hank Williams' style of music.
