Manchester, UK. 29th February 2004. Nahella Ashraf speaks at the launch of North West Respect at a Convention of the Left held in Manchester Town Hall.
This event was an attempt to put the case for the foundation of Respect as a broad Unity Coalition. The event was attended by a wide spectrum of the local anti-war movement. Nahella's eloquent speech presented this case from the point of view of a Muslim woman who had been centrally involved in the local anti-war movement.
