Quite an unusual one, this. Lou Gare (once part of legendary free jazz ensemble AMM) turned up (having intended to for a few months). His dissonant sax playing pushed things in interesting new directions. Unfortunately, he (as well as Simon and Ben) had to leave during the half-time break. James S - vocals James T - poetry, piano, pecussion, partially-submerged gong Keith - electric guitar, electric mandolin, percussion(?) Simon - laptop (first half) Henry - percussion Matthew W - saz, balalaika, percussion Lou Gare - saxophone (first half) Ben (a.k.a. George Lazenbleep) - homemade analogue synth, piano (first half) Robin - percussion Herewood - percussion, xylophone, pennywhistle Chris - acoustic guitar, harmonica Not COTD! It's AMM, back in the day (c. 1968) All our tracks get uploaded with the default title "untitled" since, as a collective, we have no straightforward way of deciding on anything! We are inviting listeners to suggest more interesting titles for our pieces. If any occur to you, please leave a little review (it's easy - see the link below) in which you suggest them. You can tell us what you think of our music at the same time. Any suggested titles we like may end up getting adopted. File names encode recording information, as follows: "010605-d2t1x2-2130to2412.mp3" would be excerpt 2 from track 1 of minidisc 2 (running from 21:30 to 24:12 of that track) recorded during the session on 1st June 2005. Sessions are usually in two parts - we fill one disc, stop for tea, and then fill another disc.
