better than the whole HBO series
The two adaptations from Amicus are terrific films. It's a shame only two were made. The best story in this one is DRAWN AND QUARTERED with former "Doctor Who" actor Tom Baker, about an artist out for revenge. Shame the Vault Keeper didn't make an appearence, though.

Amicus classic
This is appreciated, as I've not seen the film since it originally played in 1973. I always liked the Amicus anthologies, with stories adapted from the old EC Comics, and seeing famed British actors having a good time with the lightweight material. According to IMDB, star Edward Judd (Day the Earth Caught Fire, First Men in the Moon) gets only 2 lines! Tom Baker hadn't yet assumed the mantle of Doctor Who.
Low resolution, but not a big deal in this case due to the quality of the print. Sound for the feature was a bit soft, so I made a personal copy after downloading and boosted the audio through Premiere Elements.
