Cruising the galaxy in his space ship "The Orbit Jet" Space Ranger, Rocky Jones (Richard Crane), Vena Ray (Sally Mansfield), Winky (Scotty Beckett) and 10 year-old Bobby (Robert Lyden) defend the Earth and themselves against space-bound evil doers.
On the planet Ophesus, Rocky is involved in contentious negotiations with Cleolanta (Patsy Parsons), iron-fisted dictator/queen of this world.
Along with Rocky are his co-pilot Winky and diplomat Drake (Charles Meredith), who is "Secretary of Space" for the United Worlds.

yes, i was willing to commit genocide on a grand scale and selfishly allow millions if not billions to perish for my own arrogance, but I've seen the error of my ways!..and everyone lives happily ever after..

When I was a kid
I remember the Rocky Jones and Space Patrol shows from the 50s. I think I enjoyed this as much now as I did then,
Great stuff.

Watchable
This movie is watchable. The science in it is ridicolous, of course, but it isn't overtly embarrassing.

Silly and fun and good wins out and bad sees the error of her... oh, well. And yes, it was John Banner from Hogan's Heroes.

Rocky Jones
Not bad for a kid's sci-fi show. Obyro(?) was sgt. Schults from Hogan's Heroes. He knew something. BTW the people who made Rocky Jones, did another kid's show, the Adv. of Superman.
