I love this ad too. From the kid on the left not too sure how to eat a hot dog to the dumb narration about the hot dogs talking to the customer and saying "eat me". (I do like how the narrator says "sizzlin'" though).

Subject: Stylish!

Very cheap and stylish ad for Hot Dogs. Better than "Gone With The Wind"!

Tempting taste treats await at your convenient health-code free refreshment center! A toothpick in every sandwich let's you know good-eating's coming your way. Napkin wrapped for your convenience and pleasure ENJOY ONE OR TWO NOW! GET OUT OF YOUR CAR AND WALK THE HALF-DOZEN STEPS TO MOUTH-WATERING ENJOYMENT! CONSUME! CONSUME!!

This is great stuff.

Subject: There's one waiting at the "Refreshment Stand"

Watch the ending scene carefully, where a couple is enjoying hot dogs outside the "Refreshment Stand." Which is no more than a sign posted up on a black background (everything in the ad takes place on a black background). Maybe they were on a low budget, or something?
