Slow Going for A While
Don't read the 1st review yet- somewhat of a spoiler.
I thought the movie moved along slowly and was cleverly muddled as to who was who. Outside of Conrad Veidt, it seemed that everyone had an English accent, so it was hard to discern nationalities. I also had to take a detour early on to review the parties to the the Great War, specifically, Scandinavia's status (all neutral).
The pace picked up in the final half-hour, or so.
Vivian Leigh's beauty steals every scene she's in, and she's in a lot of them. The movie's worth watching just for that.

Seen this on TV several times
Vivian Leigh was drop dead gorgeous in this and nearly every movie she was in, but here she's a French agent based in Stockholm then meets and falls in love with the head of the German Section 8 then they discover each others roles.
Great flick even if it ends somewhat abruptly.
