Subject: What beauty, what sound, what a great time all around!
The highlight of the first set had to have been Must have been the roses. While it probably wasn't the best version of the song the boys have ever done, it was the first one as Dead and Company.
The second set was nothing short of spectacular save for the Casey Jones, which started slow and just never sped up. Shunshine came right as the sun was going down, and Darkstar>Scarlet>China Doll>Darkstar>Eyes sequence sent chills up my spine more than once. There might have been a few melted faces and assorted other melted things going on. This was ALMOST good enough to make me forget the extreme temperature drop after the sun went down. IT WAS SOOOOOO COLD! Still Drums and Space was stellar and Black Peter is always a favorite of mine. If you were there, we shared an excellent time!
